TIN SHED SPORTS GROUP RIDE

PARTICIPANT WAIVER & RELEASE

Please read this waiver carefully before participating in any Tin Shed Sports group ride or cycling event.

By checking the box below and submitting this form, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I understand that bicycling is an inherently risky activity that can result in serious injury, disability, death, and property damage. Risks include, but are not limited to, crashes and falls; collisions with cyclists, pedestrians, vehicles, animals, or objects; road and trail hazards; uneven or loose terrain; weather and environmental conditions; mechanical or equipment failures; traffic; other participants’ actions; and my own physical condition, judgment, skill, or actions.

I voluntarily choose to participate and assume all risks associated with my participation, whether known or unknown, to the maximum extent permitted by Colorado law.

MY RESPONSIBILITIES

I represent that I am physically capable of participating and have the cycling ability and experience appropriate for the ride. I am responsible for deciding whether the ride, terrain, distance, pace, and conditions are appropriate for me.

I am responsible for my own bicycle and equipment and understand that Tin Shed Sports does not guarantee the condition or suitability of my bicycle or equipment. I am responsible for complying with applicable laws, traffic regulations, trail rules, and reasonable instructions from ride leaders.

I understand that Tin Shed group rides are recreational activities, not races or professional guided cycling services.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by Colorado law, I release and agree not to make claims against Tin Shed Sports, its owners, employees, agents, ride leaders, volunteers, sponsors, and affiliated persons or entities (collectively, the “Released Parties”) for injury, death, property damage, bicycle damage, or other loss arising out of or related to my participation in a Tin Shed group ride, including claims arising from the ordinary negligence of a Released Party.

Nothing in this waiver is intended to release liability that cannot legally be released under Colorado law.

EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE

If I am injured or become ill during a ride, I authorize Tin Shed Sports and its representatives to seek reasonable emergency medical assistance for me when necessary. I understand that I am responsible for any resulting medical, transportation, evacuation, or other emergency expenses.

MINORS

Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian complete any additional waiver or consent required by Tin Shed Sports before participating. A parent or legal guardian signing on behalf of a minor represents that they have the legal authority to do so.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By submitting this form, I confirm that:

  • I have read and understand this waiver.

  • I understand that bicycling involves inherent risks.

  • I voluntarily assume those risks.

  • I understand that this waiver affects my legal rights.

  • I am participating voluntarily and at my own risk.

  • I agree to the terms of this waiver to the maximum extent permitted by Colorado law.
